Keystone Escondido Asphalt Paving was founded in 2015 by a crew that had been working the asphalt and paving trades across North San Diego County for years before that. They saw a gap between large regional paving companies that treated small jobs as an afterthought and operators who disappeared after cashing the check. The goal was simple: build a real local company that showed up, did the work right, and stood behind it.
Escondido was the natural home base. The city sits in an inland valley with rolling hills, a wide range of property types, and conditions that are genuinely hard on pavement. Intense summer heat, clay soils that shift with the wet and dry seasons, and concentrated winter rains expose every weak spot in a driveway or parking lot. Working here for over a decade means we understand exactly what those conditions do to asphalt, and we build that knowledge into every job.
Today we serve homeowners, property managers, and commercial clients across Escondido and 11 surrounding communities, from the neighborhoods near Dixon Lake to properties along the Grand Avenue corridor.
